Forschungsinteressen 

My principal interest is in the diatom studies comprising and reconciling morphological, molecular, and biogeographical information. My research goal is to understand the fundamental relationships among diatoms in order to develop the environmental studies and (palaeo)climate reconstruction, geological analysis and contribute to insights into evolution and biogeography.
